Local Cafes/Bars and Supermarkets

The following shows several supermarkets within a short drive and some cafes/bars within walking distance of the villa:

Pingo Supermarket: Similar to Lidl/Aldi chains - on left as you enter Lagoa from Carvoeiro direction.

Intermarche Supermarket: Everything you could want for the weekly shop - on left on road to Lagoa from Carvoeiro direction.

Carvoeiro Shopping: There are of course plenty of shops and mini-markets in Carvoeiro but parking is a nightmare. Tip: Before you drop down into Carvoeiro, turn left to Algar Seco, follow road to right and park by the church overlooking the village. A fantastic view even if you do have to walk back up hill!

The shops at Vale Centeannes offer an alternative to the sometimes very-busy site shop. There's also a pay-by-minute internet access point and great 'tosta mistas' to be had (it's less than 5mins walk and offers a quiet beer after a hot round of golf):

*These bars show most big-game football matches.

 

Route to Vale Centeannes: offsite shops, cafe/bars and pizzeria

 

Directions:

  • Turn left out of villa
  • Walk through restaurant car park (O Farol) onto road
  • Walk along road away from reception (RB apts on left, field on right)
  • Keep right as road snakes to left
  • When returning (for a different route), take right turn leading to RB estate-agent office and hilltop pool.
